Logue’s Bar and The Goose and Gander Pizzeria are located in the seaside-town of Carrigart, on the way to Downings, Mevagh – a community as famous for its warm welcome as it is for the stunning scenic views! Proprietor Chris Healy, a Carrigart native saw a need for an offering which kept high quality ingredients, as well as a social element of gathering together for good food and a warm atmosphere at its heart when he opened the Goose and Gander Pizzeria – then a popup pizzeria located behind the bar, in 2015. Combining the cosy, historic pub with something innovative, the rustic woodfire pizzeria with delicious and inspired toppings, became a popular hit with locals and tourists alike, and was this year renovated further into a unique barn setting to welcome more guest – becoming a mainstay in Carrigart. Logue’s Bar (built in 1825) also hosts an extensive gin, whiskey, wine and craft beer menu to delight guests as well. The Goose & Gander has two woodfired ovens that can cater for parties of up to 100 people in the new pizza barn attached to the main bar and would be delighted to cater to your pre-booked events/parties. Walk ins are always welcome and there
is no need to make smaller bookings/reservations.
